Do you have a website or a software application that you would like to integrate with ICD9Data.com or ICD10Data.com? Here are a couple of examples of what you can do. If you have more complex needs, please let us help you by emailing us at feedback@icd10data.com.
ICD-9-CM Code Redirect
Link and redirect to any ICD-9-CM code using the search handler.
Just change the reference to the code 001.0 in the following template URL: http://www.icd9data.com/getICD9Code.ashx?icd9=001.0
ICD-10-CM/PCS Code Redirect
Link and redirect to the latest version of any ICD-10-CM code by changing the reference to the code A00.0 in the following template URL: http://www.icd10data.com/Codes/A00.0.
This also works for ICD-10-PCS codes: http://www.icd10data.com/Codes/0016070.
ICD-9-CM codes can be used with this redirection functionality: http://www.icd10data.com/Codes/001.0.
Notice how the redirector sends the ICD-9-CM code request to ICD9Data.com. Requests for ICD-10-CM codes are directed to ICD10Data.com.
ICD-9-CM to ICD-10-CM (and vice versa) Conversion
Link and redirect to a ICD-9-CM <-> ICD-10-CM conversion using a standard URL.
Simply change the reference to the code 001.0 in the following template URL: http://www.icd10data.com/Convert/001.0
ICD10Data.com Integrated Search
Search for any medical code by hooking into the ICD10Data.com search engine.
Just change the 'search' parameter to match your query in the following template URL. This example searches for the code 001.0: http://www.icd10data.com/Search.aspx?search=001.0&codebook=AllCodes.
This search facility can also be used to search for text. For example, search for codes containing the word "heart" using the following URL: http://www.icd10data.com/Search.aspx?search=heart&codebook=AllCodes.
Tip: make sure you URL encode the search text - see www.url-encode-decode.com.
