- A primary or metastatic malignant neoplasm involving the colon.
- Malignant tumor of the colon or rectum. The majority are adenocarcinomas. Loss of imprinting (LOI) of the insulin-like growth factor II (IGF2) gene is suggested to be associated with a predisposition to sporadic colorectal cancer.
